A Plagued Tile or Tile Plaguing is a tile that doesn't cause any damage. Similar how Smashed Tiles do. But it also has an ability to spread to nearby tiles if not used quickly.
This ailment can be removed by purifying it or use all the plagued tiles to prevent it from spreading.

- In Bookworm Adventures, all enemies having this attack can plague one tile at a time. This changes in the sequel as they can plague multiple tiles at once, making it harder to remove quickly.
